Policies and Procedures
All policies and procedures are designed with you, the member, in mind.
Show your membership card at the front desk with each visit. A picture I.D. is required for the initial visit.
Protect your membership card! There is a charge for replacement.
Attire
Members and their guests are required to wear shirts at all times while on club courts, in the lobby, lounge and fitness areas. Tank tops are allowed but must cover the entire chest and back. Athletic shoes must be worn on the courts and in the fitness area. No black/blue or waffle bottom shoes are permitted on wooden floors.
Members and/or guests with illegal shoes will be required to stop club activity and no refunds will be given.
Exercise Floor Ettiquette
The main lines of machines are for circuit training. Members proceeding throughout the line have priority.
Anti-bacterial wipes are available to wipe down machines before and after use.
Water in an enclosed plastic container is the only beverage allowed on the exercise floor.
For members' safety, all free weights must be returned to the racks at all times when not in use.
Please do not set them on the floor, lean them on the machines or against the walls.
Certain free-weight exercises are prohibited, including the standing press, dead lifts and jump squats.
Lost And Found
All valuables, such as watches, jewelry and sunglasses, found by GHFC staff go to the front desk and are locked up for safe keeping. No valuables are returned prior to the member giving a detailed verbal description. Other items go to the lost and found locker.
If items are not retrieved within one week, they are turned over to Goodwill or the Salvation Army. All items claimed need a detailed description and the name and telephone number of the person claiming them. Please note: Our insurance does not cover lost or stolen articles, so please keep your valuables locked up at all times.
